- Mechanism elucidation of liver cell injury by fluorescence antibody method, lymphocyte culture test, and liver cell culture method
- Extraction of hepatocyte membrane-specific antigens, study of biliary tract, intrahepatic bile duct cancer, and hepatocellular carcinoma
Research Achievements
- Elucidated that thrombin neutralizing action on vascular endothelium is a composite effect of endothelial-derived acidic mucopolysaccharides and plasma-derived substances
- Used fluorescence antibody method to identify infiltrating cells in autoimmune hepatitis and elucidated the infiltration of immunoglobulin-producing plasma cells
- Demonstrated the importance of hepatocyte membrane autoantigen in the progression of chronic active liver diseases, purified it, and revealed its autoantigenic components, targeting autoimmune lymphocytes
